Emma & Mike ~ Garden Wedding at a Private Family Home, Surrey

When Emma & Mike told me they were getting married in Emma’s late grandad’s garden, I wasn’t quite expecting to arrive at an actual fairytale hidden woodland. Their family and friends worked incredibly hard to carve out a small clearing in the woods for the wedding breakfast, and it was honestly the most magical setting - filled with homegrown flowers, homemade bunting, and fairy lights.

Emma is a gardener/presenter, and they incorporated her love for gardening by planting an apple tree during the ceremony. I couldn’t help but think about the tree growing in the years to come, the fruit it will bear, and Emma and Mike celebrating their anniversaries alongside its growth. It made me so happy. What a beautiful way to mark a day.
