Katie & Chris ~ The Party Field wedding, Lewes

Okay I’ve been absolutely terrible at this blogging thing. Things have been a little crazy in the last few months, we came back from travelling after taking 9 months off and I was moving house (twice in 2 months!)…but I’m all settled into my new flat now and I’m excited to be sharing some of the weddings that I’ve shot in the two months of the year when I’ve been working!

First up is Katie and Chris’ awesome marquee wedding at The Party Field. It was the first wedding that I shot since coming home from travelling and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect start. It was one of the warmest days of the year, I got to play with Connor the cat during bridal prep (I LOVE HIM SOOOOOO MUCH), got to witness this utterly lovely couple get hitched and last but not least got to run around a field that overlooks the stunning South Downs, taking photos and drinking cold elderflower cordial. ‘twas a good day.

Vicky & Gordon ~ Country Garden wedding

Heyyyy guys, so sorry I've been absolutely rubbish at this blogging thing!! I'm travelling a lot this year, hence the lack of updates but I promise there will be more blogposts coming soon.

So to start here is Vicky & Gordon's garden wedding that I shot last August. This lovely couple got hitched at Gordon's auntie's stunning country house with the ceremony at a church 10 mins up the road. I really enjoyed photographing the entire day, but one of my favourite parts was definitely a surprise game of 'pass the parcel' that Gordon had organised for his bride to play in the morning. Each layer revealed a special gift - sparklers and pack of tissues for the bridesmaids, Jimmy Choo sneakers, a diamond necklace and a tear-inducing letter for Vicky..needless to say I was crying behind my camera. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking!!

*Huge thank you to my friend Ahmani for second shooting this wedding with me!

Charlotte & Neil ~ Oak Tree Farm Tipi wedding

On a magical day in the middle of nowhere, two of the loveliest people celebrated their love with their close friends & family. As I was second shooting for Kari I only got to know the Charlotte and Neil on the day of the wedding, but I'm very much in love with the pair of them. Charlotte is the kind of girl who...well, before the wedding a bird shat on her dress. She laughed it off, saying that it's good luck. From what I've seen at the wedding they share the most tender yet intense kind of love, and I'm grateful to have been able to witness it.

Emily & Josh ~ Teepee wedding, Peak District

I LOVED this wedding that I shot with Lee in the Peak District back in August! Emily and Josh tied the knot at a beautiful church just up the road from Josh’s parents’ home, where the reception was held after. This is the second wedding that I’ve shot where the reception was celebrated in a family home, and I must say I am again, not disappointed. To give you a rough idea of how awesome it was: they had a lake in their garden…and there was a boat in there!!! On top of that a beautiful sunset, this wedding was pretty much a photographer’s dream!
