Jo & Tom ~ Merriscout, Cotswolds wedding

Following Jo & Tom’s engagement shoot that I posted over 2 months ago (I’m terrible at this blogging thing…), here is their awesome WEDDING! I had been really nervous about shooting this day as it was the first wedding of the year for me after taking the winter months off, but what a wedding it was! And as expected Jo & Tom made it really easy for me. It was a glorious spring day and Merriscourt provided the most stunning backdrop. My favourite parts of the day include the beautiful singing during the ceremony, everyone’s reaction to Ashley the magician’s tricks (he’s the best one I’ve seen!!!) and the moment Charlie the emotional guest won the speech sweepstake (she won £250!!!!). Also can we just take a moment to appreciate how good Jo & Tom look! I wish we could keep reliving this day over and over again.

*Huge thanks to my favourite Brazilian (my awesome and hilarious friend Alline) for second shooting this wedding for me!

Jenni & Rob~ Arkwright Rooms wedding, Nottingham

I was over the moon when Lee asked me to second shoot a wedding for him at Nottingham Trent University. Being the place where I had spent the three best years of my life, where I had graduated with my best friend, this place holds a special place in my heart always.

The Arkwright Rooms where the wedding took place is a gorgeous old building on the exterior, with a twist of modernity on the inside. The architecture was beautiful, and provided really unique spots for photos. (I love symmetrical lines...a little too much) Jenni and Rob were just the cutest. He helped her into her dress that morning, walked down the aisle together and made each other laugh so much throughout the day. To top it off they braved the downpour with us for photos! Weddings like these never feel like work, they feel like hanging out with friends on a cheerful day! Thank you Lee, Jenni and Rob for a pretty great day!
