Katie & Chris ~ The Party Field wedding, Lewes

Okay I’ve been absolutely terrible at this blogging thing. Things have been a little crazy in the last few months, we came back from travelling after taking 9 months off and I was moving house (twice in 2 months!)…but I’m all settled into my new flat now and I’m excited to be sharing some of the weddings that I’ve shot in the two months of the year when I’ve been working!

First up is Katie and Chris’ awesome marquee wedding at The Party Field. It was the first wedding that I shot since coming home from travelling and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect start. It was one of the warmest days of the year, I got to play with Connor the cat during bridal prep (I LOVE HIM SOOOOOO MUCH), got to witness this utterly lovely couple get hitched and last but not least got to run around a field that overlooks the stunning South Downs, taking photos and drinking cold elderflower cordial. ‘twas a good day.

Alice & Adam ~ West Sussex farm wedding

If you follow my blog you might remember this engagement shoot where I came home 4 hours later than intended. Well, those two wonderful humans got hitched at Alice's grandma's farm last September and it was all sorts of wonderful. There was no formal sit down meal but a hog roast instead, kegs of beer, farm games, a pizza van and an awesome band. It's on days like this when I think it's bananas that this is my job.

Tara & Ben ~ Festival wedding, The Copse

Tara & Ben got hitched at a stunning country house called The Copse. They hired out the venue for the whole weekend and basically had the best house party!!! This talented couple thought up and made pretty much everything for their big day (Tara even designed her own dress!). They wanted to put together a day that resembles some of their favourite festivals such as Wilderness Festival, and I thought they did an awesome job- I absolutely loved the wild flowers, the fancy dress party, the fire pits and the general chilled out vibe. All this without mentioning how awesome these two are and how much fun it was to hang out with them and their friends & family!

Vicky & Gordon ~ Country Garden wedding

Heyyyy guys, so sorry I've been absolutely rubbish at this blogging thing!! I'm travelling a lot this year, hence the lack of updates but I promise there will be more blogposts coming soon.

So to start here is Vicky & Gordon's garden wedding that I shot last August. This lovely couple got hitched at Gordon's auntie's stunning country house with the ceremony at a church 10 mins up the road. I really enjoyed photographing the entire day, but one of my favourite parts was definitely a surprise game of 'pass the parcel' that Gordon had organised for his bride to play in the morning. Each layer revealed a special gift - sparklers and pack of tissues for the bridesmaids, Jimmy Choo sneakers, a diamond necklace and a tear-inducing letter for Vicky..needless to say I was crying behind my camera. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking!!

*Huge thank you to my friend Ahmani for second shooting this wedding with me!
